To understand the challenges and results of their career site's redesign, we met with Maxime TISON, Employer Brand Manager at Auchan.

The Challenge: Creating a Showcase for the Employer Brand and its Roles

Faced with industry competition and the diversity of profiles sought, Auchan had a clear need: a career site that would serve as a true showcase for its employer brand and company culture.

Beyond simple visibility, the teams had precise requirements:

  • Autonomy: To have control over content management to be more reactive and agile.
  • Connectivity: An easy and fluid link with their ATS (Kelio ATS) to centralize applications.
  • Dynamism: To highlight the day-to-day reality of jobs with personalized video content based on the position.
  • Modernity: To align with market standards to offer a quality candidate experience.

The Solution: A Career Site That Goes Beyond the Job Ad

For Maxime TISON, CleverConnect's career site met all these needs by offering a tool that is both simple to administer and powerful in terms of personalization.

I really like the personalization aspect of the job offers: if a butcher's job is posted in our ATS, it appears on our site with a tailored banner and a video of the job in question. This helps the candidate to better understand the role and to project themselves. We go beyond a simple job ad!

The site, which is easy to manage and perfectly integrated with the Kelio ATS, allowed Auchan to transform its recruitment strategy. Every job offer published is enriched with relevant employer brand content, offering candidates an immediate immersion into the reality of the roles and the company.

This approach also helped improve brand consistency across all recruitment channels and increased credibility.

Auchan and CleverConnect have been working together for several years now. We were supported throughout the project, from needs assessment to site delivery and even beyond. Every contact person was attentive to our needs and offered us suitable solutions.

The choice of CleverConnect was a natural one, based on product knowledge and, most importantly, a long-standing collaboration. The implementation process was described as very clear and organized: a preparation phase followed by a production phase punctuated by regular exchanges.

Thanks to the teams' responsiveness and a clear distribution of tasks, the site was able to go live in a few months, without any major issues.

The Result: A Career Site That Generates a High Volume of Quality Applications

Ergonomic and intuitive, Auchan's new career site quickly proved its worth.

In 2024, the group received 665,000 applications from all sources combined. Of these, more than 148,000 (over 22%) came directly from the career site. These figures demonstrate the quality of the site's SEO, as well as the fluidity of the candidate journey.

The site also had a direct impact on Auchan's image as an employer. In 2024, the new career site allowed the group to make a leap in the Potential Park ranking, which evaluates the employer brands of various companies.

With its career site, Auchan has modernized its recruitment process, offering candidates a rich and transparent information space, while ensuring it fills its positions with genuinely motivated and engaged talent.
